Introduction THE NEW INN COLEFORD OFFERS FOOD, DRINK AND ACCOMMODATION TO MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND THIS STATEMENT AIMS TO GIVE A CLEAR INDICATION OF THE ACCESS FACILITIES THROUGHOUT THE PREMISES.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities • Car parking for 40 cars. Car parking space can be reserved on request. • Assistance from car park to entrance available on request. drop off point to Pub Entrance is 10 m. Car Park surface is tarmac. There is no barrier. Path to Pub entrance is flagstone and at least 3ft wide. It is uncovered but lit at night. There are no steps or ramps, but a slight inclination in a 2 m section. • Contact phone number is displayed externally and Clear visual signage displayed externally. • Access to rooms via lobby visual signage and pre-arranged assistance and porterage available on request. • Dog water Bowls are available on request.

Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area • Drinking/Dining Areas can be accessed without the use of stairs, when using the nearest possible access point. • There is one only downstairs bedroom. Exterior access has a step of 6 cm height. Most doors are 30 cm wide. • Please ask for any assistance you require. • Lighting in the Pub area is low. Lighting in the bedrooms is fairly low. • Seating is available in the Reception Area. Most Doors have automatic Fire Door closing hinges. • The Reception and Main Pub Doors are open 12 -3 pm and 6 - 11 pm. Access to rooms is available outside these times. • Owners are expected to make all provision for service dogs. • The building is Grade 2 listed 13th C : it therefore has narrower upstairs corridors with uneven low head room and is not suitable for the visually impaired. •

Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc • Apart from one downstairs bedroom, the rest are upstairs. These stairs are carpeted as is all corridors and bedrooms and some bathrooms. • The lighting throughout this old cob building is low. All stairs/steps in building have handrails. • All bedroom doors and most others are Fire Doors which close automatically. • No baby changing facilities are available. • Dog Water Bowls are provided in garden for members of the general public. • There are stone steps internally in the centre of the Pub. They number 3 in total (6 cm high and 35 cm deep) - there is a handrail beside these steps. • There are 3 female WC's and a male WC. Because of the age of the building they are unsuitable for wheelchairs. • There is a grab rail in one female WC.

Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc • The Floor covering in the Pub area is of carpet. The Recption Lobby is of carpet. The Pub Entrance and the Restaurant is of quarry stone and as such can be uneven. • The Lighting throughout the building is low. • There is a flight of 3 steps in one area of Bar (height 6cm depth 35cm) There is also one step in another part of Bar (height 6cm) • The public areas for eating and drinking are full of tables and chairs. • Clear pictorial fire emergency exit signs are displayed. Large text menus available is requested on booking.

Public WCs • The Public conveniences are situate near the main pub door. The corridor and the toilets themselves have a quarry stone surface which can be uneven. • Because of the age of the building, these toilets cannot accommodate wheelchairs. A grab rail is availabe in one female WC. and a similar rail will shortly be fixed in the male WC. • The doors to the toilets are automatically closing fire doors. • There are no baby changing facilities due to the lack of space. • Coat hooks are provided on the rear of toilet doors. • Taps on the basins have levers. • The fire alarm has an audible emergency tone.

Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Bar area, Take Away & Cafe • The Lighting throughout is low. • The flooring is a mixture of quarried stone and carpeted areas. • Most tables and chairs are moveable. Most do not have arms. Some instability of tables/chairs on stone floors. • Menus can be provided in large text if requested when booking. • We cater for all dietary requirements if requested when booking. • The premises are non-smoking throughout. There is a designated, covered smoking area externally. • We provide waiting service as standard.

Outdoor Facilities • There is a garden outside. Part of this is level lawn, part is decked by the stream and the rest if of flagstone. • It can be approached via a level pathway of flagstone, although there are 3 flagstone steps in one area. • There is nightime lighting in the garden and in the carpark.

Please contact us is you want exact measurements of a particular ensuite. • The floor surface will be either carpet in Rms 1,2, 4,5 and Vinyl in Rm 3 and Tiles in Rm 6 • Doors are single leaf and 76 cm width.

Additional Information • We ask you to make us aware on checking in, that you require extra evacuation assistance should the need arise . • Fire alarms are audible. The Assembly Point is at the far end of the car park by the Garages. • There is a no smoking policy throughout the interior of the building. • Mobile networks are sometimes restricted due to location of the building. • No inter-connecting rooms are available. • Staff/Owners are available 24 hrs a day by phone connection - details in rooms.
